OKA TOKAT! WHO TURNED ON THE MICROWAVE?

IN PICTURES: PUERTO PRINCESA UNDERGROUND RIVER

PUERTO PRINCESA IS OFFICIAL TO NEW 7

PPUR officially confirmed as one of the New7Wonders of Nature

The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is located about 50 km north of the city of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. It features a limestone karst mountain landscape with an 8.2 km. navigable underground river. A distinguishing feature of the river is that it winds through a cave before flowing directly into the South China Sea. It includes major formations of stalactites and stalagmites, and several large chambers. The lower portion of the river is subject to tidal influences. The underground river is reputed to be the world's longest. At the mouth of the cave, a clear lagoon is framed by ancient trees growing right to the water's edge. Monkeys, large monitor lizards, and squirrels find their niche on the beach near the cave.

Manila/Philippines, Zurich/Switzerland: Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) is now confirmed as one of the New7Wonders of Nature. Making the announcement in Manila, Bernard Weber, Founder-President of New7Wonders, congratulated the people of the Philippines for supporting their national finalist in the global campaign.

“When your very own President Aquino came out in support of the PPUR campaign, I knew that this country was taking the New7Wonders of Nature seriously,” said Weber. “Fans of PPUR all over the world responded to his call for action by voting in record numbers and today’s confirmation is the well-earned reward for this extraordinary display of enthusiasm,” he added.

Mr Weber was speaking during a meeting with Edward Hagedorn, Mayor of Puerto Princesa, Nardz Villafranca, PPUR campaign coordinator and Jean-Paul de la Fuente, New7Wonders Director. Subjects discussed included the arrangement of the Official Inauguration events and the implementation of the strategic plan for promoting PPUR using its title as one of the New7Wonders of Nature.

“This confirmation is wonderful news for Puerto Princesa, and a great example of how now its more fun to be in the Philippines,” said Mayor Hagedorn. “World-wide exposure of our natural beauty on this level is critical both for tourism and for our image nationally and internationally.”

Puerto Princesa Underground River is located some 50km north of the city of Puerto Princesa, on Palawan island in the Philippines. It consists of a limestone karst mountain landscape, several large chambers containing significant formations of stalactites and stalagmites, and an 8.2 km. navigable underground river that winds through a cave before flowing directly into the West Philippine Sea. At the exit, a flawless lagoon is framed by ancient trees growing right to the water’s edge.

In alphabetical order, the provisional New7Wonders of Nature announced on 11 November 2011 are: Amazon, Halong Bay, Iguazu Falls, Jeju Island, Komodo, Puerto Princesa Underground River and Table Mountain. Following Jeju Island, PPUR is the second to be confirmed on a preliminary basis, as New7Wonders has now completed the telephone voting validation in the Philippines. The remaining five provisional New7Wonders of Nature are currently undergoing the three steps of the verification process, namely the national voting validation, the global voting calculation confirmation by an independent audit firm, and the preparation and implementation of the Official Inauguration ceremonies.

The men will be dropped near the North Korean coastline and then enter North Korea to carryout their assassinations. For their return, Choi Eung-Chan (Cheon Ho-Jin) promises to have a submarine waiting for them to carry them back to South Korea.

Meanwhile, the five high ranking South Korean public officers, who initiated the covert operation, changes their minds while the operation is taking place. The officials decide to give up on the 21 special force members taking part in the covert operation.

It turns out Bae Sik-Joong is quite a cook and he prepares dishes for Lee Yun-Seung and Lee Jin-Pyo. Lee Yun-Seong also spots a photo of a young woman named Kim Na-Na that Bae Sik-Joong carries with him. Lee Yun-Seong takes the photo and places it next to his bed. He becomes emotionally attached to the woman in the photo even though he has never met her.

A few days later, Lee Jin-Pyo loses a foot while saving Lee Yun-Seung from a landmine. While Lee Jin-Pyo is recovering, he finally tells Lee Yun-Seung about his birth father and how he was killed by his own government. KPOP: CITY HUNTER ON ABS-CBN

ABS-CBN kicks off the Year of the Dragon with the much-awaited and biggest Korean drama “City Hunter” premiering this Monday (Jan 23) on Primetime Bida.

Taking the lead in this landmark Korean production is Asian superstar Lee Min Ho who returns on Philippine primetime TV after his hit series “Boys Over Flowers,” and “Perfect Match” on ABS-CBN.

Playing as Min Ho'S leading lady is his rumored real-life girlfriend, Park Min Young. The two reportedly fell in love while shooting the action-drama soap.

In the series, Min Ho plays the role of Johnny Lee, a charming and smart young man who works at the Presidential residence called the Blue House. Little did everyone know that behind his massive appeal to women, intelligence, and pleasing personality lies a son trained to kill and seek revenge for his father. His mission is to make five politicians responsible for killing his father pay with their own lives

Despite being a skilled assassin, the task wouldn’t be that easy for Johnny because he has to follow three rules on his mission— he can't trust anyone, he cant reveal his true identity, and he cant fall in love. All of these will be put to test when he meets Kim Na Na (Min Young), a body guard at the Blue House. As Johnny unintentionally falls in love with Na Na, he must also choose which path to take. Will he choose duty or love?

Don’t miss the premiere of “City Hunter” this Monday (Jan 23), after “Pinoy Big Brother Unlinight,” in the undisputed Primetime Bida of ABS-CBN.

KATY KISSED A GUY AND SHE LIKED IT

Former PBB housemate Ivan Dorschner was the luckiest audience as he started the Chinese New Year this 2012 with a kiss from no other than Katy Perry during the successful concert of the American pop singer at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds in Pasay City on January 22.

Reports said that Katy told the crowd that the first guy to take off his top could come up on stage.

Manila was the last leg of Katy's “California Dreams” tour which started in February 2011 with over a hundred shows in Europe, Australia and America.

The Daily Mail reports:
She puckered up to a half-naked man earlier this week when she performed in Indonesia.

And last night Katy Perry kissed another male as she took to the stage in Manila, Philippines.

Dressed in a floor-length sequined gown and feather boa, the newly single 27-year-old flirted with the shirtless fan, also grabbing his nipple.
