ABOUT

Good day!

Welcome to POTTERmoi and thank you for stopping by!

This is my personal web journal. It contains stories about myself and my personal experiences. This web blog also contains information and articles that relate to my interests and likes.

This blog was originally created as FindingEmoi.blogspot.com. [Moi or Emoi is my nickname]. Then, it was resuscitated as ThePensieveOnline.blogspot.com. [The Pensieve is an object used to review memories. It has the appearance of a shallow stone or metal basin, into which runes and strange symbols are carved and precious stones are fitted. It is filled with a silvery substance that appears to be a cloud-like liquid/gas; the collected memories of people who have siphoned their recollections into it (Harry Potter Wiki)].

The main purpose of this blog is actually to extract, store and review memories. Just like how a Pensieve works in Harry Potter.

Later, it was renamed as POTTERmoi.blogspot.com, a copied name of Pottermore. Pottermore is a website focusing on the unknown parts of the Harry Potter series and re-telling the story in an interactive way. The author, J.K. Rowling, partnered with Sony to develop the site (Wikipedia).

I am Elmor Mores (Ehlmr Mawreyz). I started to like writing when I was in high school. I was in third high when my English teacher asked me to join the cluster level editorial writing. By that time, the world was jolted by the news about 9-11 US terrorist attack. It was also then the topic given to us during the competition. I never expected to bag the third place and advanced to regional level. And when I was in college, I was the editor-in-chief of our school organ for two years. Since then, writing has been my aspiration.

I am currently working as a Team Leader in a call center. I am an associate graduate of Accountancy of AMA Computer Learning Center in 2004 and undergraduate of BS Accountancy of AMA Computer University QC in 2005.

I am a fan of sci-fi and horror movies. But I consider watching horror movies with supernatural creatures and events rather than horror movies showing morbid deaths or gruesome scenes.

I am indeed a Harry Potter fanatic and I have all the seven books. And this explains why the blog is named as POTTERmoi.

I am very fascinated about the universe - from the creation to evolution and now the civilization we enjoy. Mainstream scholars and scientists have their own interpretation. Religion also speaks about the Divine power. I extremely believe in God. But can we also consider the evidences and mysteries left on earth? What if the gods miraculously flying and worshiped by our ancestors in the distant past were flesh and blood extraterrestrials with misunderstood flying machine and technology?
