Lee Jin-Pyo (Kim Sang-Jung) and Park Moo-Yul (Park Sang-Min) worked as bodyguards at the South Korean President's home the Blue House. While the president and other high ranking public officials were visiting Myanmar an explosion occurs there set off by North Korean agents. The explosion did not harm the South Korean President, but other South Korean officials were killed. To retaliate for the killing, five high ranking South Korean officials plan a covert operation to go into North Korea and kill North Korean agents. Without the president's knowledge, bodyguards Lee Jin-Pyo and Park Moo-Yul gather men who will take part in the dangerous mission. The men will be dropped near the North Korean coastline and then enter North Korea to carryout their assassinations. For their return, Choi Eung-Chan (Cheon Ho-Jin) promises to have a submarine waiting for them to carry them back to South Korea.

Meanwhile, the five high ranking South Korean public officers, who initiated the covert operation, changes their minds while the operation is taking place. The officials decide to give up on the 21 special force members taking part in the covert operation.

The special forces members complete their tasks and swim into the ocean looking for the submarine to take them back to South Korea. They spot the submarine waiting for them and attempt to board the submarine. A sniper on the submarine kills all of the special forces members except Lee Jin-Pyo - who survives and swims back to South Korea.

Lee Jin-Pyo, carrying out a promise to his fallen comrade and good friend Park Moo-Yul, goes to Park Moo-Yul's home and snatches away Moo-Yul's baby, while Moo-Yul's wife hangs clothes outside. Lee Yun-Seong, now a young adult, enters a village in Thailand and spots a Korean man, Bae Sik-Joong (Kim Sang-Ho), being shaken down by Thai gang members. On a whim, Lee Yun-Seong comes to his aide and helps Bae Sik-Joong escape. Lee Yun-Seong takes the Korean man back their camp. It turns out Bae Sik-Joong is quite a cook and he prepares dishes for Lee Yun-Seung and Lee Jin-Pyo. Lee Yun-Seong also spots a photo of a young woman named Kim Na-Na that Bae Sik-Joong carries with him. Lee Yun-Seong takes the photo and places it next to his bed. He becomes emotionally attached to the woman in the photo even though he has never met her.

A few days later, Lee Jin-Pyo loses a foot while saving Lee Yun-Seung from a landmine. While Lee Jin-Pyo is recovering, he finally tells Lee Yun-Seung about his birth father and how he was killed by his own government. Lee Jin-Pyo then vows to exact revenge upon the five government officials responsible for his father's death.

Seven years later, Lee Yun-Seo finally arrives in South Korea. Prior to arriving in South Korea, Lee Yun-Seo studied at M.I.T. in the United States. He was also warned by Lee Jin-Pyo, prior to entering South Korea, to avoid falling in love because blood will be shed all around him ...

KPOP: CITY HUNTER ON ABS-CBN

ABS-CBN kicks off the Year of the Dragon with the much-awaited and biggest Korean drama “City Hunter” premiering this Monday (Jan 23) on Primetime Bida.

Taking the lead in this landmark Korean production is Asian superstar Lee Min Ho who returns on Philippine primetime TV after his hit series “Boys Over Flowers,” and “Perfect Match” on ABS-CBN.

Playing as Min Ho'S leading lady is his rumored real-life girlfriend, Park Min Young. The two reportedly fell in love while shooting the action-drama soap.

In the series, Min Ho plays the role of Johnny Lee, a charming and smart young man who works at the Presidential residence called the Blue House. Little did everyone know that behind his massive appeal to women, intelligence, and pleasing personality lies a son trained to kill and seek revenge for his father. His mission is to make five politicians responsible for killing his father pay with their own lives

Despite being a skilled assassin, the task wouldn’t be that easy for Johnny because he has to follow three rules on his mission— he can't trust anyone, he cant reveal his true identity, and he cant fall in love. All of these will be put to test when he meets Kim Na Na (Min Young), a body guard at the Blue House. As Johnny unintentionally falls in love with Na Na, he must also choose which path to take. Will he choose duty or love?

Don’t miss the premiere of “City Hunter” this Monday (Jan 23), after “Pinoy Big Brother Unlinight,” in the undisputed Primetime Bida of ABS-CBN.

MR. BEAN SURVIVES CAR ACCIDENT

Rowan Atkinson leaves hospital after McLaren F1 crash

Rowan Atkinson, the comedian and petrol-head, has been discharged from hospital on Friday after walking away from a crash in one of the world's fastest road cars – suffering no worse than an injured shoulder, some very expensive coach work and wounded pride.

He left Peterborough City hospital in a wheelchair by the back door, flanked by security guards who attempted to block waiting photographers, and was driven away in a private ambulance.

The accident happened when one of the stars of his large car collection the maroon McLaren F1 – which he bought in 1997 for a reported £650,000, as a reward for the success of his Mr Bean film – apparently spun off the wet road on Thursday night and hit a tree and a lamppost. He had been travelling on the A605 near Haddon, Cambridgeshire, at around 7.30pm, at the time.

His agents, PBJ & JBJ, said the actor would leave hospital sore but without serious injury, that nobody else was involved in the accident, and that he had no comment to make.

Only a few weeks ago, when he clocked up the fastest guest star lap on the BBC Top Gear programme, he staunchly defended the McLaren to a presenter Jeremy Clarkson. "You've got to live with it. I have lived with it for 14 years, I've done a lot of miles in it, I've done 37,000 miles – which for a McLaren is a lot," said Atkinson.

He loaned the car to the programme on a previous occasion, when it was driven by another Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond without incident.

In 1999, Atkinson damaged the bonnet of the car – which is capable of 230mph, and accelerates from 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds – in a low-speed shunt.

The vehicle will probably be returned to the McLaren factory in Woking for repairs. A spokesman at the plant said: "We are waiting to hear more details on the incident, and wish him well for his recovery in the meantime."

On screen and in real life, Atkinson has a serious car habit. As the hapless Mr Bean he folds his long angular frame with difficulty into a Mini, but drives altogether flashier cars as his other alter ego, the Bond-lite spy Johnny English. He drove an Aston Martin in the first film, and alternates between a racing wheelchair, and a Rolls-Royce with – as he boasted on Top Gear – a 9 litre V16 engine in the new film, due for release next month.

Atkinson also races cars from his extensive collection, including his 1964 Ford Falcon. He is also believed to own a 1980s Aston Martin V8 Zagato, an Audi A8 and, more thriftily, a Honda Civic Hybrid.

Rowan Atkinson injured in car crash

The actor Rowan Atkinson was taken to hospital after his car crashed, reports said.

The Blackadder and Mr Bean star is believed to have suffered a shoulder injury in the incident on the A605 in Haddon, Cambridgeshire, on Thursday night.

According to reports the 56-year-old was driving a McLaren F1 super car when it spun around several times, ran into a tree and a lamppost and caught fire.

The actor is said to have walked from the vehicle and was with a passing motorist until emergency services arrived.

East of England ambulance service said: "We were called to a single vehicle road traffic collision at 7.30 tonight on the A605 at Haddon."

A man was taken to hospital in Peterborough with "a minor shoulder injury", a spokesman added.

A spokeswoman for Cambridgeshire police said: "We can confirm that there was a single vehicle road traffic collision at around 7.30pm on the A605." Firefighters arrived on the scene to put out the blaze.

A spokesman for the star could not be reached for comment.

Atkinson, known to be a car enthusiast, recently topped the leader's board on Top Gear's star in a reasonably priced car segment.

He told presenter Jeremy Clarkson he was keen on racing and was currently driving a 1964 Ford Falcon.
